The
rich and varied landscape of the wild backcountry near Bear Mountain
Lodge, adjacent to the Gila Wilderness in southwestern New Mexico,
will provide the classroom for photographer Michael Berman as he
guides participants to see "the two kinds of landscape that
interest me: vast empty desert and the intimate landscape that you
need to get close to appreciate." Participants will have the
opportunity to photograph The Nature Conservancy's preserves.
In
addition to the field work, the workshop includes a slide show,
lecture, and studio visit. It is designed for beginning and intermediate
level photographers who have a good working knowledge of their cameras.
Includes:
3 nights lodging and all meals and $50 donation to The Nature Conservancy
Limited to 14 participants |
